Partial Shoulder Replacement

Overview
Unlike a total shoulder replacement which replaces both the ball and socket of the shoulder, a partial shoulder replacement is performed if only the ball portion needs to be replaced. The ball of the shoulder is the term used to describe the head of the humerus. It is important to get on the proper treatment plan following this procedure in order to expedite the healing process.
