Trigger Finger Release
Overview
This is a soft tissue procedure performed to help provide relief for a
trigger finger
. The surgical procedure is a fairly simple one where the hand surgeon can either make an incision or use a needle
to divide up the sheath that surrounds the tendon that is causing the pain. Following the procedure, the finger should be in its normal position and the likelihood of the finger getting stuck in the trigger position should be minimal.
